At 7 AM on November 30, 2012, a freight train traveling through Paulsboro, New Jersey, derailed and overturned on a bridge over Mantua Creek, spilling more than 23,000 gallons of highly toxic vinyl chloride into the air as vapor. Over the following days, thousands of Paulsboro residents complained of various symptoms and physical complaints. Within a few weeks, Dr. Cohen was called upon by legal teams to evaluate many of these victims and to share her clear, objective, expert medical opinion. She is well-versed in chemical analysis and has trained in environmental health through the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine and at Rutgers University in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health. Contact her for expert medical advice, medical evaluations, and case reviews pertaining to chemical exposure and rheumatology cases.
